Albrecht Duerer's "Black Knight"

Remember? When I showed you the Black Knights in the Hofkirche in Innsbruck, I told you
that three of those Knights (Kings, Dukes, Counts and Queens)
were designed by Albrecht Duerer, the famous German artist about whom I spoke a moment ago.
He studied and wrote about "the Human form".
These studies find their expression in the very natural way
in which his three Black Knights stand. Look at the position of this Knight's feet and legs, the slight curve to his body,
the slightly cocked head and the very relaxed way his hand rests upon the hilt of his sword.
Go back in the Blog and find the other two Knights.
They too are interesting.
