The Red Fox, almost from a fairy tale.

We found a little niche between some rocks and settled down there for a well-deserved lunch.
Out of the brush came this wonderful Red Fox.
He looked both ways, just to make sure.
First he eyed us with some suspicion, but once he had decided that we were no danger,
he settled down, curled himself into a red-brown ball of fur
and stared straight at us. Eye to eye.

Finally he got bored and wandered off,
back into the thicket from whence he had come.
"How lucky can we get?" was Christin's rhetorical question.
"The biggest Moose and shortly afterwards such a beautiful Fox."
"We are only half way through our hike.
Who knows what else will run across our way". I said.
