Three memories

I've been thinking about an undertaking, which I already call
"Safari 2017"
This made me unearth some of the images from prior Safaris.
The joy of new adventures is beginning to stir.

Along the Chobe River, in Botswana,
this thought provoking picture presented itself.
A mother from the tribe of the Tswana,
carrying her child on her back,
approaches her home, built out of reeds,
a plentiful building material.

A Cheetah mother with four offspring.
All four of them at an age and size
where their survival into adulthood
is a possibility, maybe even a likelihood.

Avarice and stupidity of man
has pushed this animal to the edge of extinction.

Bertstravels
may have posted those images before.
They are so prototypical of "African Safari"
that I could not resist showing them again.
