Festival Theatre. I decided to drive to Goderich, on the shores of Lake Huron, and maybe go for a little swim there. The drive was leisurely, the weather beautiful. Blue sky with a few clouds, temperature in the mid 20s.
Goderich has a Farmers' Market every Saturday. There were approximately 30 farmers, or more, all with their stands, selling everything from radishes, cucumbers, tomatoes, all kinds of fruits and anything which grows on a farm.
One thing I found most interesting. Almost without exception the farmers advertised that they are growing their products without any chemical additives and without gene manipulation.

Goderich is a town of about 8 square km
housing about 8000 people.
This poster catches your attention immediately.
It is symptomatic of their philosophy of farming
An empty Information stand may indicate
that people who shop in Goderich know everything
and need no Information
The 'Whitefield Farm' is not only productive
but also very artistic.
The produce is large and fresh and good.
(I tried some radishes and some pears,
and can say that I never had better. )
Homegrown AND CHEMICAL FREE.
That says it all.
