Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia, Canada

The famous light house in Peggy's Cove.

a lonesome visitor to a forbidding rock formation

Peggy's Cove
Today, as in days gone by, the men and women
of this village
make their living through fishing.
Today, however, they have added
"Tourism" as a source of income.

There are, by latest count, exactly 35 year round
inhabitants in this picturesque village.

La Pocatiere P.Q

We stopped at this Esso station for gas.
Christin saw this black cowboy hat for sale.
She absolutely had to have it and have her picture taken
with the attendant.

A lovely small restaurant in La Pocatiere.

QUEBEC CITY, P.Q. CANADA.

This is surely one of the prettiest and most interesting cities of Canada. It is said that it is "the most European City" of Canada. While we visited this lovely place there was a slight drizzle now and then. The rest of the time it was just cloudy. Somehow this did not really dampen our enthusiasm for Q.C. I can only show you a very few of the many pictures I took. I hope that they give you an idea of this place.

Quebec City - once more -

Window shopping in Q.C.

On the day of our visit, preparation for
the World Cup bycicle race were under way.
The white tent in front of the Chareau Frontenace
was erected as a bycicle repair shop.

One of the three remaining archways of the Old Quebec City.

Christin sits at the window in a restaurant.
I am on the outside taking her picture.
The reflection tells all.

Everywhere you look, you see at least
three crosses and one Saint.
