Letzthin habe ich Euch Bilder der Innenstadt gezeigt. Das koennte den falschen Eindruck hinterlassen, dass Toronto eine Stadt von Beton, Stahl und Glass ist. Nichts koennte weiter von der Tatsache sein. Toronto ist eine der "gruensten" Staedte der Welt. Mit vielen Parkanlagen, an deren Spitze der 161 Hektar (399 Acker) grosse High Park steht. Viele mittelgrosse und kleinere Parkanlagen ergaenzen das "Gruene" Bild. Um all dies wirklich geniessen zu koennen, muesst ihr halt einmal auf Besuch kommen. Dann kann ich es Euch zeigen.

Lately I showed you some pictures of "downtown" Toronto. These could easily leave you with the false impression that Toronto is a City of Concrete, Steel and Glass. Nothing could be further from the truth. Toronto is, in fact, one of the "Greenest" Cities in the world. It boasts many large, mid-sized and smaller Parks which all serve to create a healthy environment. The largest of the Parks is High Park which, with its 399 acres, leads the parade of Greenery. To truly appreciate this, you simply must come for a visit someday. I'll gladly show you around.
