It's just a little lake; warm and clear to over 10 meters...you can see the gravel stones at the bottom. In the centre, the lake, so they tell me, is about 80 meters deep. It is a lovely lake for a quick swim. From Braunau I got there in about 30 minutes. What a pleasure!!

I remember swimming here with Steve the summer before we got married. Inga was well enough to go swimming with us that day. We ate dinner at a little restaurant just up the road outside on a picnic table. I was wearing a bathing suit cover up though dinner. There was a man sitting next to us and he couldn't take his eyes off me. Weeks later I saw a picture of me sitting at that table and I then understood. I will show you the picture upon your return.
