and too hot to go outside to the swimming pool.
I'm staying indoors, where the thick walls ( 2 to 3 feet ) make the house comfortable.
Hand me a Gin and Tonic, would you?

We went down to the CNE on Friday. The temperature wasn't so bad but the sun was beating down like a heat element 2 inches above your head so it was hot hot hot.
I wanted to visit the Busker Festival on Front street yesterday but decided to wait until today/tonight in case the daytime heat was the same.
All my comrades agree; only the 20 year old's can deal with this heat without falling over.
