I'm glad I'm not a tree

Frost encrusted trees and
a frosty country side
tell you: "It's coooooold"

Today I am really glad I don't live up there.
Just imagine: You wake up in the morning,
you have to make a fire in the fire place,
and you discover you ran out of milk and bread and eggs.
The nearest grocery store is 2 miles away.
Isn't this fun???

If you would live there, you would have decided to have your own hens and your own cow.
and you may start beaking your own bread as well.
A friend of mine does so.
She lives miles away from the next shop, but you will always get fresh eggs and bread if you visit her.

why in hell would I waste my life keeping hens and cows, doing all the hard work this entails, when I can buy the stuff from a nearby grocery store.
Just don't live in a cold, drafty castle, miles away from civilisation...that's my advice.
