Yesterday afternoon it started to snow.
By this morning there were, according to the weather report, 47 cm
of the white stuff on the ground, with snow drifts
over 1.5 m. deep.
I tried to have some of this stuff shipped to Vancouver.
No such luck

except for today: Today she shovels snow.

The wind kept most of the snow off the roof of my car.

Salzburg wollte ja die Spiele haben,aber wir haben sie nicht bekommen-dafür haben wir den schnee bekommen.
The City of Salzburg wanted to be nominated (????) for the games,but we had no luck (no matter anyway).
Instead of them we got the snow....
