From Tobermory, the North tip of the Bruce Peninsula, we took the Ferry for a two hour trip to the 'South Landing' on Manitoulin Island. The Chi-Cheemaun takes aboard a possible maximum of 650 passengers and 240 automobiles. It raises its yawning front- or rear end and seemingly swallows people and cars with great gusto.

From beginning to end of the trip we are accompanied by seagulls.
