Wetterbericht - Weather report -

Also, was kann ich euch schon sagen ueber das Wetter? gestern, schoener als vorgestern, heute schoener als gestern. Morgen? Ja wer weiss was morgen bringen wird.??? Bin heute zu einem voellig wolkenlosen Himmel aufgewacht, wie immer, so um 6 Uhr herum. Ging ein bissl spazieren und bin jetzt, 9 Uhr 15 zurueck im Gasthof, wo ich diese Zeilen schreibe.
Christin musste gestern zu einem Begraebnis in Klagenfurt gehen, und ich nuetzte die
Gelegenheit einen alten Schulkollegen und Freund in Villach zu besuchen. Er, Karli Ransmayr, lebt in Wien, ist vorlaeufig in einem Rehabilitationsheim in Villach, wo er sich in Luxus von einer Hueftenersetzung erholen kann. Das ist ein Erholungsheim ersten Ranges. Luxurioes, mit Dachgarten, auf welchem ein Caffee untergebracht ist. Heute haben wir einen vollen Plan, von dem ich euch morgen berichten werde.

Okay, what can I tell you about the weather? Yesterday, more beautiful than the day before and today much more beautiful than yesterday...tomorrow? Who knows what tomorrow will bring??
I awoke, as most mornings around 6am and went for a long walk in the brisk morning air, under a totally cloudless blue sky.
Yesterday, christin had to attend a funeral in Klagenfurt and I took the opportunity to visit an old friend in Villach. karli Ransmayr lives in Vienna, but is currently in a Rehab-Home in Villach, after having undergone a hip replacement. What a Rehab facility...Modern to the nth degree and beautifully furnished. On top of the 4th floor there is an indoor/outdoor Caffee, where we sat und drank some "Gschpritzten Apfelsaft" (Apple juice with Soda).. Karli had a glass of wine, which i declined since I still had a 1 1/2 hours drive in front of me.
Today, I expect we will have a busy day about which I will report to you tomorrow....
