When you get up early, at the break of dawn, and meander around your camp site (or luxury lodge)
you just might get lucky. A rare fox and the not so rare Squirrel or a Chipmunk.

Back at Arowhon Pines in Algonquin Park

Two nights at Arowhon was not enough. It had to suffice, however...
The weather was fabulous. Sunshine underscored by a few white clouds, just to make the contrast interesting.
You would have to go to a "Four Star" restaurant in Toronto or in Vienna to get food like you get there.
Air temperature: 32 C
Water temperatur: 23 C
Enjoyment factor: 100 %

Whenever I am in Toronto, I never fail to drive to Kleinberg, a small town North/West of Toronto and harboring one of the best galleries, exhibiting predominately Canadian Artists.
There are, of course, always the famed "Group of Seven and Tom Thompson" there are wonderful "First Nation" artists and now, I find, somewhat interestingly some very modern artists.

Bertstravels has been 'incommunicado' while in the wilds of Algonquin in Canada.
There is no Internet connection and no cell phone. There are just 8000 sq.km of bush, forest and 2500 lakes.
But, here goes, from the beginning:

The day of my arrival in Canada I had dinner with Steven and Lianne.
