Strenges Fotografierverbot / Photographing is strictly forbidden

Over the public address system "three times" in German, English and Italian, we were informed that the taking of Photographs was strictly forbidden and all cell phones had to be turned off.
The reason given was: The photo flashes and/or the clicking of the cameras, or the ringing of a cell phone might disturb the horses. It goes without saying that I agree with the prohibition of photo flashes. However, I am in the second gallery and even a sharp eared horse will not hear my camera clicking. What is more, the horses seemed to take no note of the frequent, loud, spontaneous applause which broke out sometimes in the middle of an intricate manouvre.
So, don't give me that jazz about a nervous horse.
As today was one of my "French Only" days, I could understand neither of the languages in which this prohibition was published. Therefore you are such lucky folks and you can see these surreptitiously taken images.

Ueber das Lautsprechersystem wurden wir dreimal informiert, dass fotografieren strengstens verboten ist. Der Grund dafuer war angegeben, dass ein Pferd nicht nur durch Blitzlicht, sondern auch durch das Klicken der Kameras nervoes gemacht werden kann. Diesen Unsinn sagte man uns auf Deutsch, Eglisch und Italienisch. Ich stimme natuerlich mit dem Gebot "Kein Blitzlicht" ueberein. Aber, wenn man mir weismachen will, dass diese Pferde das sanfte Klicken meiner Kamera vom obersten Balcon hoeren und darauf hin nervoes werden, dann kann ich dieser Behauptung keinen Glauben schenken. Zumal das Publikum des oefteren in der Mitte eines komplizierten Manoevers in lauten Applaus ausbrachen. Ich sah kein Pferd, welches sogar nur mit einer Wimper zuckte. Da heute auch mein "ausschliesslich Franzoesischer " Tag war, konnte ich diese obigen Ermahnungen nicht verstehen und daher koennt Ihr, liebe Blogfolger, diese Bilder sehen.
