Pit Stop in Salzburg

Just a short visit to Salzburg, to my nephew Theo, his wife Christa and their Grandchild Anna.
The rest of the family were unfortunately busy with their own lives, so i could not meet them this time. As usual, the reception was "regal" to say the least. We have a standing joke, dealing with the guest room being called the "Royal Suite" and, if you remember an earlier entry in this Blog, a month ago I was welcomed with the Canadian and the Austrian Flag flying side by side at the entrance to their house. (If you don't remember this, you obviously are not following this Blog with the meticulous attention it deserves, nay, demands.) This time, the banners waving in the breeze were from the Hapsburg Dynasty.
On this occasion I invited Theo, Christa and Anna to our almost annual "Mozart Dinner"....
As always it was a smashing success. The most wonderful way to enjoy excellent food and great music together in a most civilized way. We were seated at a table for 8, with a couple already there. As always, we started a conversation and guess where they were from:
Dave and Sonya Lock, this absolutely delightful couple, came from, you guessed it, TORONTO.
As Theo said: It's either a small world, or Toronto is a large town....Anyway I'll keep you posted.
Greetings from Salzburg!
