A Candle for Gladys

Alle, die mich kennen, wissen, dass ich kein "Religioeser Mensch" bin.
Ich stimme sogar mit der Ansicht ueberein,
dass "Religion das Opium der Masse ist"
Trotzdem brennt eine Kerze fuer Gladys
in Salzburg, in Schwendau im Zillertal, in der Hofkirche in Innsbruck,
in der Mooskapelle in Grinzens, in Velden am Woerthersee,
in Villach, in Lindau im Bodensee, in Dresden und jetzt in Rust.
Im Stephansdom in Wien und in der Staphanskirche in Braunau
wird auch bald eine leuchten.

All of my friends know that I am not a religious man.
In fact, I even agree that religion is the Opium of the People.
In spite of this, there is a candle burning for Gladys in churches in
Salzburg, Schwendau in the Ziller Valley, The Hofkirche (Black Knights) in Innsbruck
in the Mooskapelle in Grinzens, in Velden on Lake Woerther, In Villach,
in Lindau in Lake Constance, in Dresden and as of today in Rust.
Soon there will be candles burning for Gladys in Vienna's St. Stephan's Cathedral
and in the church of St. Stephan in Braunau.
