Soccer in Bleiburg

Haven't been to a soccer game recently.
Yesterday I decided to take one in and to talk about it and show some pictures here.
As Soccer games go, I wouldn't write home to Mom about it.
In fact, it was a pretty bad game, particularly from the point of view of the Bleiburg fans.

Day before I watched Arsenal defeat Napoli 2:0..... and what a brilliant game it was.
Arsenal played Soccer the way Soccer is supposed to be played.

In loosing 6 : 0, Bleiburg played Soccer the way it should definitely NOT be played.
It was a sad spectacle!
Our team played against  F.C.Abtei.
A small Village in the Valley of the Roses.
They handed us the thorns:

At this point, Bleiburg (in Black) was still confident. 

They would win easily against this  

Village team from Abtei.

Within the first minute, Abtei scores its first of six goals.

Although Bleiburg's keeper gives the best he has.

The end result was:

A Goshawk

Osprey or Seahawk

It matters not what you call him/her: Osprey or Seahawk...
It is one beautiful bird:

Mom and Dad Osprey, 

keeping a look-out atop the highest branch of a dead tree.

This young flegling discovers, for the first time, 

what his wings are for.

... and here, Dad returns from a successful fishing trip. 

He carries his bounty like a torpedo, to reduce 

the drag while he is flying.

Clever bird, don't you think?

Squirrel and Mongoose

When you go on Photo-Safari to Gonarezhou,

you cannot only pix Elephants and Lions.

Sometimes the little fellows have to come into the picture.
